Praise & thanks

Everyone, say thank you to God;

Thank him for his power and love.

We say thank you to God

And offer our lives to him.

God can be seen in the world in which we live;

The skies,

The land,

The seas.

We say thank you to God

because you can be seen in the world you created.

God, the world is yours and you are our King.

We say thank you to God

Because you care and love for us all.

Be kind to me God

For you love me so much

And want all that is good for me.

Forgive me for all the bad things that I have done

And help me to try again and be better.

I know the bad things that I have done,

And the things that I do again and again.

When I do or say bad things

I know that you see and hear me.

I know that you want me to be different.

Father God,

Thank you that you see more than what I do or say;

That you see who I really am.

Give to me a new start

And help me try harder and longer to be good.

You walk with me wherever I go and whatever I do;

You never leave me on my own.

Help me to want to walk with you at all times

And to say thank you more often.

You only ask that I love and follow you.

Thank you that when you hear “I’m sorry”,

You simply open your arms

And love me.

Trusting God

When I’m feeling lonely, I can rely on God.

He is with me, he keeps me safe and I can be confident in his love.  He will be my friend.

When I’m needing help, I can rely on God.

He is with me, he keeps me safe and I can be confident in his love.  He will help me.

When I’m feeling worried, I can rely on God.

He is with me, he keeps me safe and I can be confident in his love.  He will show me what to do.

When I’m not sure where to go, I can rely on God.

He is with me, he keeps me safe and I can be confident in his love.  He will lead me.

God is good and faithful and is always at my side.

I belong to God

God, you are my God and I want to see you in all that I do.  I want to follow you for all of my life.

I see you in the world around me and know that I am yours.

Your love is the greatest love of all.

I will shout “thank you” as I remember all that you do.

I will be happy with what I have in my life; what you have given to me.

I will be thankful to you when I get up in the morning and when I go to bed each night.

You are my friend and are always there to help me.

I will stay close to you and you will hold me in your arms.
