Easter
Chocolate
And bunnies
And bright spring sun.
Means only one thing –
Easter has come.
Sadness
And crying
And Christ on the cross.
His life has been ended –
My future, his cost.
Singing
And laughter
When up comes the sun.
Jesus is living –
Easter has come!

Can seem like a lifetime.

Can go in a flash.

And everything changed.
The crowds thought they knew
Who you should be.
The crowds thought you’d fight
They just couldn’t see.
That the way of God’s son
Was not what they thought.
They just couldn’t see
That love was the key.
